Journalists file police complaint against SLPA chairman

A group of journalists today filed a police complaint against the chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) Dhammika Ranatunga.The journalists claimed that he had threatened them when they were doing their duty outside the Colombo High Court. Th journalists were taking visuals of Dhammika Ranatunga at the court premises when he had arrived to attend a court hearing into the arrest of his brother Nishantha Ranatunga.Dhammika Ranatunga was seen intimidating one journalist at the court premises before he went inside the building. The journalists filed a complaint with the Keselwatta police over the incident. (Colombo Gazette)
